You are not at risk of missing out on what God has already written into your story. When you feel behind, when it feels like it’s taking too long, when your heart aches with uncertainty—remember, God is never late. He is always right on time.
When you worry that the person, the calling, or the opportunity will slip away if you don’t strive harder—breathe. If it’s from God, you don’t have to chase it. You only have to trust Him.
Just like if it isn’t from Him, no amount of effort can make it stay. But that’s okay—because what God removes, He replaces with something better, more aligned with His purpose for you.
Your responsibility is not to figure out when or how His promises will come to pass. Your responsibility is to stay obedient, to listen to the Holy Spirit, and to take steps of faith rooted in peace and truth.
Let go of what you’re gripping in fear, and make space for what He is preparing in love. Let Him be God. Let Him lead.
Know this in your bones: what God has for you will not miss you.
Not yesterday. Not today. Not ever.
